Course Terms and Conditions

1. Parties, Scope, and Acceptance

Agreement. These Course Terms and Conditions, together with the order page, checkout disclosures, and any written program-specific terms presented at purchase, form a binding agreement between Anastasiya's Method LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, and the person who purchases, enrolls in, accesses, or participates in a covered offering.

Covered offerings. These Terms apply to birth preparation courses, workshops, webinars, recordings, digital workbooks, couple questionnaires and roadmaps, community groups, and related educational support. Private one-to-one services may require a separate agreement.

Eligibility. Participants must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. A partner or support person who attends, accesses materials, or joins a community must also follow these Terms.

Couple enrollment. The person enrolling a couple confirms that each named adult has authorized the enrollment and that the enrolling person will provide these Terms to every participant before access or participation. Each adult who attends, accesses materials, uses a private link, joins a group, or otherwise accepts the benefit of the offering accepts these Terms and is individually responsible for following them. The purchaser remains responsible for all charges placed through the purchaser's account.

2. Educational Purpose and Professional Boundaries

Education only. The program provides general education about pregnancy, labor, birth preparation, partner support, postpartum recovery, newborn care, communication, and related topics. It does not provide individualized medical, nursing, psychiatric, psychological, legal, or emergency advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a licensed clinician who knows the participant's medical history.

Instructor credentials. Anastasiya Spassky is a registered nurse. Her professional background informs the educational content, but participation does not create a nurse-patient, clinician-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional treatment relationship.

Clinical decisions. Participants must direct personal medical questions to their own obstetric, midwifery, pediatric, primary care, mental health, or emergency care team. Anastasiya's Method does not direct clinical care or guarantee that a hospital, clinician, insurer, or third party will accept a plan, preference, technique, or recommendation discussed in the program.

Emergencies. The course, website, email, questionnaires, social groups, and messaging channels are not monitored for emergencies. In the United States, call 911 or seek immediate medical care for urgent symptoms or safety concerns. Participants outside the United States should use their local emergency number.

3. Participation, Exercises, and Personal Responsibility

Voluntary participation. Participants choose whether and how to take part in demonstrations, breathing practice, positioning, touch, massage, movement, cold exposure exercises, including the optional ice cube exercise, and other activities. Participants must stop any activity that causes pain, numbness, dizziness, shortness of breath, distress, or concern and seek appropriate professional advice.

Pregnancy and physical limitations. Before trying a physical activity, each participant is responsible for considering pregnancy, medical history, mobility, sensation, circulation, medications, clinician instructions, and the physical environment. Suggested modifications cannot assess individual safety remotely.

No promised outcome. Birth, recovery, infant health, relationships, and emotional responses are affected by many factors outside our control. We do not promise a particular birth experience, medical outcome, relationship result, or level of preparedness.

4. Course Delivery, Access, and Changes

Delivery. A program may include live online or in-person sessions, recordings, presentations, demonstrations, worksheets, questionnaires, private links, email lessons, community discussions, and downloadable or streamed materials. The exact content, schedule, access period, and included features are those shown on the applicable sales or registration page.

Reasonable changes. We may make reasonable changes to instructors, dates, times, sequence, content, technology, or format. If we cancel an entire paid course and do not offer a reasonable replacement date or equivalent delivery, the participant will receive a refund of amounts paid for the cancelled course.

Private links. Login credentials, private couple links, download links, and access codes are personal and may not be shared outside the enrolled couple or household covered by the purchase.

5. Fees, Taxes, and Payment Plans

Payment authorization. The participant agrees to pay the price, taxes, and disclosed fees shown at checkout and authorizes the payment processor to charge the selected payment method.

Installment plans. An installment plan divides one purchase price into scheduled payments. It is not a cancel-anytime subscription. Enrollment creates an obligation to pay the full purchase price unless a refund or cancellation right below applies.

Processor. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Anastasiya's Method does not receive or store full payment card numbers.

6. Cancellation, Refund, Transfer, and Birth Contingency

How to request. Send a cancellation, refund, or transfer request to amethodrn@gmail.com from the email used for purchase. Include the participant's name, course, and purchase email.

Live cohort cancellation. A request received at least 7 calendar days before the first scheduled live session qualifies for a full refund. A request received 2 to 6 calendar days before the first session qualifies for a refund of 50 percent of the course price. A request received less than 48 hours before the first session, or after the first session begins, is not refundable unless required by law or covered by the birth contingency below.

Birth before the course begins. If the pregnant participant gives birth before the first scheduled live session, the participant may choose a full refund or one transfer to a future comparable cohort. The request must be made within 30 days after birth.

Interruption after the course begins. If birth or a medically necessary interruption occurs after the course begins, the participant may request one transfer, continued access to available recordings and materials, or a reasonably comparable postpartum educational option. Any partial monetary refund is based on the undelivered portion and determined in good faith, subject to applicable law.

Digital products. A standalone digital workbook, guide, recording, or downloadable collection is final sale once access or a download link has been delivered, except for duplicate charges, a materially defective file that cannot be replaced, or a refund required by law.

7. Live Sessions, Recordings, and Confidentiality

Recording notice. We may record instructor-led teaching and demonstrations. If a recording may capture identifiable participant audio, video, chat, or screen content, we will provide notice. We will not use an identifiable participant story, image, or testimonial in marketing without separate permission.

Group confidentiality. Participants must not disclose another participant's identity, story, medical information, relationship information, image, voice, question, or chat content without that person's express permission.

No participant recording. Participants may not record, photograph, screen capture, transcribe, stream, or redistribute a live session, community discussion, private roadmap, or participant contribution without prior written permission and the consent of every identifiable person.

8. Couple Questionnaires and Shared Roadmaps

Shared output. Separate partner answers may be combined into a shared communication or partnership roadmap. Each person understands that the shared output may reveal or summarize needs, observations, preferences, emotional signals, task requests, and differences between responses.

Respectful use. The roadmap is an educational conversation tool, not a clinical assessment, lie detector, diagnosis, or prediction. It must not be used to control, shame, threaten, monitor, or retaliate against another person.

Safety limitation. The program is not a substitute for domestic violence support, crisis care, couples therapy, or individualized mental health treatment.

9. Intellectual Property and License

Ownership. All course content, including slides, scripts, recordings, videos, worksheets, roadmaps, questionnaires, prompts, illustrations, exercises, branding, and teaching methods, is owned by or licensed to Anastasiya's Method and protected by intellectual property law.

Limited license. The enrolled participant receives a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for personal, non-commercial education within the enrolled household during the stated access period.

Prohibited uses. Without prior written permission, a participant may not copy, reproduce, translate, modify, sell, sublicense, publish, upload, teach from, train an artificial intelligence system on, create derivative products from, remove watermarks from, or share course content with a third party.

10. Community Conduct and Technology

Conduct. Participants must communicate respectfully and must not harass, discriminate, threaten, advertise unrelated products, give dangerous medical instructions, impersonate another person, or post unlawful or infringing content. We may restrict or terminate participation for a material or repeated breach, safety concern, unauthorized sharing, nonpayment, or disruption.

Third-party services. Course delivery may rely on payment, email, video, hosting, messaging, community, or social platforms. Joining an optional WhatsApp group may expose a member's phone number, profile name, photo, and messages to other members and to WhatsApp or Meta under their own terms.

11. Privacy

Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

No warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the course and materials are provided as is and as available. Nothing excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Excluded losses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anastasiya's Method and its owner, instructors, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, relationship outcomes, or medical outcomes arising from or related to a covered offering.

Liability cap. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total aggregate liability arising from a paid offering will not exceed the amount the participant actually paid for that offering during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For a free offering, the aggregate cap is 100 United States dollars. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Disputes, Governing Law, and General Terms

Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, the participant and Anastasiya's Method agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue by written notice.

Michigan law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Unless applicable consumer law requires another forum, court proceedings must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the order page, and any program-specific written terms are the entire agreement about the offering. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

Electronic acceptance. Online enrollment, payment, access, or a checked acceptance box is sufficient to accept these Terms. Electronic acceptance and records have the same effect as paper acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
